Crashing when slowing down a video

When i try to slow down a clip of my video i can only go down to .8x speed in properties. Everything lower and it crashes

What version of Shotcut are you using?

Intermittent crashing when changing speed

Ever since I have used shortcut (only about a month, have the newest version as well), when changing the speed of a clip, shortcut crashes every 3/6 times. No filters added whatsoever on each clip either. I can provide video but it’s pretty self-explanatory. Changing clip speed almost guarantees a crash.
