Not directly repeatable - this is a typical scenario:
Double click a clip from the playlist to view
Drag it to the timeline
Sometimes crashes. In a video editing session typically get a few crashes. Because of this I save the project file after every edit operation on the timeline.
It takes a little time to add the clip to the timeline; moving the cursor whilst it is still adding might be related. Trying to not rush it.
