I added an embedded video player which appears on screen so you can run the video within the HTML file and click to increase the counter. Actually that idea came about from an idea by another forum member, @musicalbox, in a previous HTML project, so it was another Shotcut forum collaboration.

I also added SPACE as an alternate to clicking, CTRL + SPACE (or CTRL + Click) to decrease the counter, and BACKSPACE to reset the counter.

Thanks very much! I finally have a moment to come back to this. I downloaded it. I have one silly question: how do I load the video into it? I can’t for the life of me figure that out.

I record the browser screen using Techsmith’s free Capture app

Interesting, I hadn’t heard of that, I will investigate.

I like it quite a bit. TechSmith retired it recently, but you can still download it from a couple of third-party sites. For example, here:

I’ve used it for the last six years.

Hi @spamless - thank you. To get the video on screen, you must name it video-01.mp4. Then just put it in the same folder as the HTML file, and it should show up. Cheers!
