It would be helpful to be able to copy directly from the playlist of one project to the playlist of another project. As best I can see, when you paste from project to project, the clip ends up in the timeline and must then be cut from the timeline and pasted into the playlist.
Combining clips from more than one project is possible through editing the .mlt files (and once you get the hang of it, this is quite easy) but doesn’t allow you to see which clip you’re copying - a visual process is far preferable.
btw, a previous post - ‘How to copy clips from one project to another’ ends with a mention that this is on the timeline, but I couldn’t find it so I’m reposting this request.
