I have a video clip that’s originally 1920x1080 but I used the crop filter to crop the video and make it smaller. I also cut the clip to the desired length.
Next I want the video mode to be exactly the right size for exporting the video without black bars. So I go to settings - Custom and add a custom video mode. In my case it’s 472x579. But Shotcut entirely changes the colours of the original video. And sometimes the clip isn’t cut correctly at all - it loads a different part of the original file.
I am running the latest version of Shotcut under Windows 10
