What is your operating system?
(Specs below in image. Hopefully nothing is too personal, let me know if I have an issue!)
What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?
Shotcut version 23.05.14.
Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
While it can be a bit finnicky, the basic situation is that with this clip I’m using, whenever I split the clip into two different clips, after a minute or two of loading, the clip changes to an entirely different timestamp. So, for example, I can have a clip going from 00:00 to 01:00, cut it around the 30-second mark… And then the clip that should start at 00:00 is instead around 00:15. The clip itself is a 32-ish minute .mkv I recorded back in February, and I have a feeling the entire clip is going to have this issue. It uses four different tracks; track one being a mix of my mic, my friends audio, and the game audio, then the remaining three being separate tracks of what was mentioned.
The only reliable “fix” I have is via rebuilding the audio waveform, then rebooting shotcut. If nothing comes up, I’ll try backporting into an older, hopefully more reliable version since I’ve always had issues with these new versions.
