In shotcut, when I try to mask the parts of my video that aren’t in the green screen. I mask the video so that part isn’t in it. But when I go to Chroma Key the video, it doesn’t work? I’m not sure what I am doing wrong here, and I can’t seem to find any solution to this.
If you use chroma key after a mask then you need to use Chroma Key: Advanced and set the (alpha) Operation to something other than Write on Clear (overwrite). Chroma Key: Simple will overwrite any alpha channel operations made by the previous mask filters. Alternatively, move Chroma Key: Simple before the mask filters.
