I am using arch linux with flatpak version now, I tried to install other versions, from aur, with appimage. I also tried to follow some reddit guides but still nothing. I checked some forums here and one of them says that after 17.09+ version shotcut became slower and choppy, can i fix that somehow?
Changing playback resolution and project fps doesn’t affect on anything, just makes picture worse
Shotcut cannot play over 30 fps, never could, due to technical limitations. You can still edit and export higher frame rates.
If you want smoother playback within that constraint, use proxy and preview scaling as mentioned in the FAQs. And try the 26.1 with hardware decoding.

Sad, does anybody from devs has any plans to fix that? I tried pitivi and there 60 fps playback works perfectly, but that app is incredible buggy
