Shotcut is beginning to be my favourite video editor. Kudos to you for this awesome product. I have a “small suggestion” if possible. I saw this in the upcoming features list but not sure if it’s what I’m suggesting (clip markers or flags) - if it is the same I apologize and you can remove this suggestion, if not, It would be nice to indicate that a particular clip has been added to the timeline with a checkmark or some other marker. This is helpful when we add a bunch of short clips to the playlist but only selective ones get added to the timeline. I know we can see the filename within the timeline clips but it would also be helpful to indicate it in the playlist section which ones have been dropped on the timeline and which ones have not.
