Changing Rotation Anchor Point on Cropped Shape

Hi everyone,

Continuing the discussion from How do you change the pivot point of rotation?:

I’ve run into a problem. I made a thin rectangle shape by cropping a bigger shape. Now, I want to rotate this thin rectangle, but it’s rotating from the middle. I need it to rotate from one of the ends instead. I’ve attached a picture to show you what I mean. Can anyone tell me how to change the rotation point in Shotcut?

I kindly plead you @shotcut to provide a detailed explanation on what you saying here.

This one did not work for me.

Suggestion Help/How To

Hi @TLR_Pictures

You should probably use Glaxnimate to draw and animate your rectangle.
Using the SP&R and Crop filters won’t work well for this particular case.
