Changing length of video clip

Brand new to audio/video editing. I want to use a downloaded stock video clip and overlay my music.

The clip is .27 seconds. The music is 1:29.

How does this work…assuming it does. ???

You can change the speed of the video clip in ‘Properties’. This will extend the time value, but will slow down the video action. (Slow motion)
