When I look up instructions online of how to view waveform, when one audio track is not showing under the video for some mysterious reason, (no. it is not muted) iIm told to right-click and then go into a submenu, and select View Waveform.
But View Waveform doesn’t appear on the menu. i could not find that on any menu anywhere!
Another bit of internet advice was to go up and use the wrench icon.
Only there is no wrench icon anywhere!!!
So i’m still stuck with a video file that was actually created in Shotcut that has a blank audio section with no waveform. (while all other video tracks show the waveform in the attached audio track.)
So, I cannot sync it with better recorded audio. because the built in synch function isnt accurate enough for music videos, so that hands and fingers or mouths are truly in sync with the music.
please advise.
