Hello, I can set the duration for an image and it saves, but I can’t see the “set default” button. Can somebody help me? I just started today so I know nothing lol.

There is no Default button on properties for video (the result od the conversion). Once you set the duration/speed that’s it, you can’t reset it or even use Undo to reset it.
You can look at the properties of the original video using the operating system tools or the mediainfo app and then set the duration to that.
The “defaut” for images is 4 seconds.
You can also just open the video in Shotcut to see the original duration in Properties. When you change a video duration it is only for that instance and not every time you open the same video.
