When I drag a video in to edit, it only shows a green or sometimes white screen and I can’t edit anything.
Does anyone know how I can fix this please?

The beginning of the file name starts with 9HD (Television Channel), Canberra (Australia).
Probably has encryption built into the file, and no, we can’t help you. Shotcut is designed to work with files other than encrypted television programs.
