Can’t add clip to my edit

I opened a video file but it will not let me drag it down into my video track and gives me a little “:no_entry_sign:” “anti” symbol in the top left corner when I try and drag it in. What should I do?

Save / Close / Re-Open

This happens intermittently for me too. Save/close/reopen works, but it is annoying (my current video is 7 minutes long and has 160 clips in the playlist so it takes a couple of minutes each time to reload).

I got into the habit of clicking “Save” each time I drag a clip into the playlist…

Is this a known bug, likely to be fixed in a future version please?
