Can I use hardware acceleration?

Hello, I made an account to ask if there’s any way I can use hardware acceleration. I saw on an old thread that there was an experimental GPU accelerator, and I’d like to use my GTX 1070Ti since my CPU is taking too much stress and crashing through a render. Is there any way I can do this?
