If want to continue my video processing work on anther PC, what are the steps?
I assume I do need to migrate the MLT files and the video files I used.
If I move them to the folders with the same path, am I able to continue straight away?

Yes, this should work OK. If however the paths are not identical you will either have to edit the MLT to replace the old paths with the new ones (which is what I I have done in the past), or, when Shotcut fails to find the sources (video files) it will prompt you to supply the new filenames.
There is a bug in the version 20.04 that is causing it to save absolute paths. This is fixed for the next version 20.06.
