I’m pretty sure I didn’t deselect the filter in the tests I made earlier today. But to be 100% sure I just tested again.
Here’s what I get. Maybe you’ll spot something I’m forgetting to do, or that I do wrong:
The name of the tracker IS written in the MLT file, but it doesn’t show up in the dropdown menu of the Load Keyframes from Motion Tracker dialog.
I also tried using the tracker on a Mask: Simple Shape filter (thanks for the new rectangle control by the way). Same result: No tracker in the dropdown menu.
I made some fixes for Motion Tracker today for things I could reproduce so far with brief testing. If your Motion Tracker filter shows “Analysis complete” but the tracker does not show up in the load keyframes dialog, it is not sufficient to save. You need to save and reopen the project. The last screen recording here does not reopen the project after save. If you send a project XML that has results (“Analysis complete”) but does not show a tracker in the dialog after you open the project, please share it.
Good morning,
I sometimes use Shotcut to convert .mkv files to .mp4 (mkv files are difficult to control, fast forwards or rewinds and restarting after a pause, often requires starting from the beginning on the windows player). Yesterday, I tried with the beta release: impossible, error after a few seconds. I tried twice. I had chosen the HEVC format in 1920x800, original mkv format. No problem with version 22.12.21.
As for the dark background, I miss it
Cordially
Thanks a lot, this is a great version, Love the option to save filters to a file for re-use.
I have tested the Flatpak version on my MiniPC, I run like a charm even if it is not a very powerful system. All i have tested works fine, no crashes or wired stuff.
I will do some more testing and be back if I find some issues.
It looks like you are on a laptop with a small screen resolution.
The resolution on my desktop is 1920x1080 and I see the Load Keyframes From Motion Tracker button in the SP&R filter.
But if I reduce the size of the Shotcut window small enough to activate the vertical scrolling handle, the button disappears.
and thank you for the response. Being far from being a specialist, I proceeded with the beta as with the others. That is to say that I select the output format, I open “advanced” to see the parameters, even if in general I do not touch them, except yesterday for have the same output resolution as input. I just tried again, today I am at 6%. Mystery
In this version of glaxnimate (0.5.3), the ability to load “emotes” is no longer available.
Version (0.5.1), which in the stable version of the shotcut - everything works.
On the GitHub Actions page (that I linked above) click on the most recent build in the list that is relevant to your operating system. I’m on Windows, so I chose build-shotcut-windows
Motion Tracker Filter is great in SC 23.04.06.
It would be nice if the preview could be changed not only in colour but also in shape and thickness.
The preview is also shown in the exported video and could then be used as a motion spot without using additional filters.
I noticed Shotcut now displays the markers on the Keyframes panel.
This will be useful. But I experience a couple of problems. (Windows 10, Shotcut 23.04.05)
When zooming the Keyframes panel, the markers positions are not automatically updated. They will update if I rearrange the layout of the Timeline/Keyframe panels, but the zoom level goes back to the default value.
If there are more than one clip in the Timeline, the markers in the Keyframes panel will fit those of the timeline when the first clip is selected, but they become somewhat useless when selecting any other clip.
