Batch converting to "Edit Friendly" reduces contrast

What is your operating system?
Windows 11 Pro / 23H2

What is your Shotcut version (see Help > About Shotcut)?
Shotcut version 24.10.29

Can you repeat the problem? If so, what are the steps?
Problem easilly to repeat. Didn’t tried with another source clips but iPhone SE2020 .mov, but within it the bug is stable.

Taking one file by “Open File” gives a good result. But if to take the same in a batch, the converted copy became dark, contrast is lowered. All settings the same - middle quality.

(1) this copy was converted alone. (2) inside a batch. Also, have no idea if it is normal behavior (but unlogical) when during a batch processing - both source and converted files goes to playlist, while with single conversion - only converted.

I get similar using converted files. I now ignore the convert
xxx
24.10.29… Downloads from icloud win 11 … iPhone 11. The 3/2/1 is just the player I chose to use… same with any I use

I reproduce it. It happens in previous versions as well.

A workaround is to click Advanced in the Convert dialog, and uncheck Convert to BT.709 colorspace. That is really only supposed to be used to convert from HDR to SDR. I will default it off for the next version.
