Audio Spectrum filters not working

Hi there!

So I’ve just downloaded Shotcut and I’m very happy with it as I’ve needed some new video editing software for awhile. I was playing around with a few of the filters without a problem but noticed that the audio spectrums don’t seem to show up at all, either in the project or after exporting. I’ve looked at various tutorials on YouTube and on here, they all seem to show adding the filter as being as easy as adding any filter, but can’t find anything specifically for this issue. I’m probably being dim but can anyone help?

The audio spectrum visualization and audio waveform visualization filters need to be applied to a clip on a video track to work.
Put the audio or video clip on a video track then add the filters and they will work.
