I have been importing video clips from the Microsoft Camera App and have noticed that the video’s constantly skip and stutter when viewing them in the editor and when exported to the final version. I feel like there is some sort of compatibility problem with the videos coming out of the Camera App and Shotcut but I don’t know how to account for this. Is there something I can do to make the files compatible or some other video recording software that would be better suited to Shotcut? Thanks!
After you open this kind of clip in the Source player use Properties > menu button > Convert to Edit-friendly… When the conversion job ends, you can double-click the job to open the converted file and start to use it for editing.
