I’m using Shotcut on Windows. Simple problem: After cutting a piace of video or audio, a small snippet of the start of the audio in the clip starts playing for maybe half a second, before the proper audio begins.This makes re-cutting monologue impossible. I was wondering if anybody knows what is going on here.

Something similar happened to me a couple of weeks ago…
I’m almost sure the audio was still in sync with the video but the waveform was shifted for maybe 1 second, making it very difficult to slip exactly where I needed.
I did something (don’t remember what) and the waveform got back to the correct position…
