After deleting a subtitle line, actions don't work after the first click on a new line

Windows 10 x64, 26.4.30

I have a srt subtitle loaded in my project.

I click on a line in the subtitle panel that I want to delete, I click the minus button, it gets deleted and nothing is selected at this point.

I click on a new line that I want to delete. The new line is now selected but the delete/start/end/move buttons in the subtitle panel are disabled so I can’t do any change to my new line.

To fix: click again on some other line and click back on the line I want.

(update: this can also be reproduced by creating 3 subtitle lines “test” “test2” “test3” randomly on the timeline)

Hello Daniel, i can confirm this behaviour. I experienced this since Shotcut 25.x.y, and somehow got used to it

Question: I haven’t had time to install the nightly yet, but is the fix strictly related to deleting a row? I noticed it also happened while doing other stuff on the timeline’s subtitle track/boxes (I do not know the exact conditions yet).

I used the nightly for a bit and it seems fully fixed for me!
