Advice, Please, for Using Shotcut For 2 Video Sources and Imported Audio

Hi,
It has been a while since I have been here, and I am trying to re-acquaint myself with Shotcut in order to start producing some instructional YouTube Videos.

These are going to be guitar instructional videos, and I am going to have 2 sets of video footage - 1 from my Canon DSLR (well, APS-C), and another from my Samsung mobile 'phone.

I anticipate the videos will typically be no more than 15 minutes long.

I have several questions about using 2 (or more, but in my case, 2) video sources:

  1. Will Shotcut ‘harmonise’ or allow me to use both video sources, if they have (as is going to be the case, I think) been shot at different frame rates?

  2. What filters / workflow should I be looking at for Colour Grading (I want both sets of video footage to look the same, regarding colour - are we just talking about a White Balance here?)

  3. I will be editing the audio in a DAW, and then importing it to Shotcut - if I line up visual cues, with my audio cues (i.e., clapping to show a spike in the audio wave form, with the video of my clapping), should I be able to synch. without any problems?

  4. If I export / save the video as a .WAV file before importing it, will that be all right, or will Shotcut have a problem with that (and should I export / save to another audio format before importing the audio)?

  5. Is there anything else I should know about editing this kind of video in Shotcut?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
