Wouldn’t it be nice to add audio videos pngs E.C.T only via link?
That’s terrible from a project management perspective. If you save your MLT and all associated media inside a single folder the project is portable, you can edit on one system and export on another. Using links like that could break your project if you go back and make a change a year later when a png is no longer at that link. Also web access is far slower than a local disk and could severely slow down export times.
