Can you add that you can work with a proxy? Converting the file first to a worse resolution, then cutting it and then changing the mtl file again is just too cumbersome and takes too much time. A feature that would simply make the window where you see the finished video in poorer quality preview would be much better.
A proxy feature is apparently in the works but I don’t know how close it is to being implemented.

As far as I know, all proxy features on other editors involve having to create a file with worse resolution first.
