About using Shotcut for monetized Youtube channel videos

Hi, I am new to this forum and I recently installed the latest version of the Shotcut video editing software from the official website. I want to use Shotcut for editing my own youtube videos for my youtube vlog channel. I know that Shotcut can be used commercially, but my doubt is whether i need to provide any kind of credits, or attribution to Shotcut for using it for my own youtube channel vlogs. Also if I attribute or give credits to Shotcut in my youtube channel’s video description as follows:- will it work or not. (Video edited using “Shotcut”). So my main question is whether giving credits to Shotcut is mandatory or not and if giving credits is required then the method i mentioned above in the bracket portion is sufficient or not. Please help me with this as soon as possible.

Hi @Creative2001, welcome to the forum.

There is no requirement to give any credits to Shotcut. It does not matter if your channel is monetized or not. Shotcut does not require credit or attribution.

Happy editing!

It’ll be nice if you do, but there is no requirement
