Hi everyone. I’m not sure if this is the right place for this topic. If it’s not, please let me know, thanks. Today, while reading the ‘About the Timeline’ documentation page, I came across a misunderstanding or maybe an error in the document, in the ‘Timeline Toolbar’ section:
- Ripple Delete (-): Remove the selected clip (removes the clip but leaves a gap).
- Lift (^): Removes the selected clip(s) but leaves a gap.
Both functions should have the same effect according to the explanation. In my experience, the ‘Ripple Delete (-)’, doesn’t leave an empty space on the track: it fills it with the next clip.
The ‘Lift (^)’, on the other hand, leaves an empty space, just as the documentation says.
