To export a 4k is just set as below or do I need a minimum bitrate or frames/sec , coded, or any other settings update ?
This is depended on the codecs you use and the color pattern and the bit depth (4:4:4 (not used) or 4:2:2 (good quality) or 4:2:0 (standard)).
So far I know currently AV1 with 4:2:0 will give you the best bitrate.
For VP9 (youtube) and h265 and most other codecs you can add the quality settings.
VP9 offers around 2Mbit @ FHD with good quality. On Encoding you specify the Bitrate als encoding parameter.
Shotcut’s default usage of quality-oriented VBR in export defaults and many presets automatically adapts to resolution and frame rate for most codecs thereby avoiding the bitrate question. All you need to do in Shotcut is choose an appropriate Video Mode starting with “UHD” and you’re basically done.
