When I add 4k videos to shotcut, the audio becomes grainy. I don’t have this issue with 1080p videos. All of the videos have constant frame rate. How can I fix this?

What are your computer specifications?
You need at least 4 cores of CPU & 16GB ram to run 4k.

HDD or SSD? Having a dedicated internal SSD makes a huge difference for video editing.

I also come across this issue.
This is a preview issue due to lack of optimization that will not be fixed in the near term. In the future, you will be able to use proxies to make preview of editing 4K better. In the meantime, you can understand this is a preview issue and test an export.
