I have been natively shooting my videos at 4K from my action cameras and phone but I place it on a 2K timeline, since I previously exported it to 2K.
Lately, I have continued to use the the 2K timeline, though I have been exporting in 4K. What happens? It exports in 4K but is the quality degraded even though the native file I’m using underneath is in 4K?
The only reason I’m doing this is I haven’t gotten around to converting my previous 2K presets (i.e. filters, lower thirds, etc) to 4K, which will take me a while to do.
