When opening a Shotcut .mlt file from Finder or a third-party file manager*, Shotcut opens, but it doesn’t open the designated mlt file. All of these techniques exhibit this behavior:
- In Finder, double-click on the mlt file
- In Finder, right-click or control-click on the mlt file and select Open With | Shotcut
- In Finder, drag the mlt file icon to Shotcut in the Dock
- In third-party file manager, right-click or control-click on the mlt file and select Open with | Shotcut
- In third-party file manager, double-click on the mlt file
In each of these cases, if Shotcut is already running, the mlt will be opened in Shotcut. But if Shotcut is not running, Shotcut is opened but the mlt file is not.
*For these tests, I used Double Commander 1.3.0 build 12793 for the third-party file manager.
