If you see the 1080p file on the SD Card, you would download it in exactly the same way as the 1080i file. (I imagine you are dragging it from the SD Card to a computer hard drive or file location?)
Once the file is on the computer, Windows 10 or 11 should recognise standard 1080p files, if it doesnt, you can try downloading VLC player to open and view it. Alternatively, you can drag the file into Shotcut and see if Shotcut can handle it - its likely it can if its a valid video file.
