I’m having the same complications.
I tried checking other helpful solutions like right-clicking the .exe >> ‘Run as Administator,’ adding an empty video track, removing some filters, unchecking ‘Parallel Processing,’ changing video resolutions to fit my computer cores and SD card, but nothing seems to work! Mixing these things is also unsuccesful.
I need this exported in the span of less than 2 days!
edit: sorry I sounded so urging! I can delay this for about 2-3 more days.

Right-click a failed export job to open the log and XML. Save each of these, add them to a zip file, and attach the zip file to a reply here.

ALN…zip (5.6 KB)
I censored my username.

The error is

Could not open 'C:/Users/[my username]/Documents/Mine/Vid/WORK ON IT - Repaired.mp4'

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you why it fails to open. Perhaps something like an antivirus software is blocking it. Shotcut does a test to see if the target folder is writable in the main process, which appears to have passed the test. However, it runs a child program in the background to do that actual export, and that was blocked from running. If you are comfortable to turn off anti-virus or -malware programs temporarily to test it, that will help to determine if that is reason.

To cut a long story short, I am not allowed to switch my antivirus off - which is AVG - but have instead, tried to unblock all the child programs including qmelt, which seems to be the most concerning one. It still has not worked however, and with the other preferences switched off either. Thanks for the advice though! Will be sure to do it as soon as I am allowed to switch off AVG.

Do you already have a file with that name ‘WORK ON IT - Repaired.mp4’? It seems a strange name. If so have you looked at the “security” tag when viewing the file’s properties to make sure that you have permission to write to it?

Have you tried exporting to a different directory/folder?
