10-Bit Video Support

Hi Everyone,

SInce most of the new action cameras these days are now allowing you to save in 10-bit video, how does Shotcut handle those files? Can I color grade in 10-bit? Are they saved as 10-bit including colors upon rendering or are they downsampled to 8-bit?

The last post was in 2020 (Does Shotcut support 10-bit color?) but has there been any advancement since then?

Asking for a friend…
