I spent over 30 years as a video editor, first for a private company and then for Canadian public television, where I eventually also became producer. Now I am a full-time puppeteer (company Falada Puppet Works). Apart from using video for archive and promotion, but have now also started making live action puppet films shot in a homemade miniature studio. I started editing on early digital systems like D-Vision and Discreet, but spent most of my career working on Avid Media Composer (and Adobe AfterEffects for compositing and effects).
