I’ve been a video editor since 1983, started live vision mixing in 1987 and multicam Studio/OB directing 1989. Retired from live productions in 2019 and am keeping myself busy with editing. Since the advent of NLE’s I’ve always used Adobe Premiere and AE but moved on to Davinci Resolve since version 15. I started using Shotcut as a NLE after dropping Lightworks for rough cutting on a smaller laptop some two years back and have been very impressed by the development and evolution of the software.
