When I import my voice over file (from Audacity) into Shortcut, it is messed up

I don’t know what is wrong. The voice over file is in WAV format and it sounds ok when I play it on my PC but when I put on my timeline it has Chur Chur sound all over it.

Need help please.

What version number of Shotcut are you using?
