What to do to get started in using my Shotcut

I’m very new to this and I read requirements as it states that Directx 11 (no list provided) can be used. I have that and Intel® 533/531 Express Chipset Family 256 MB and when I try to start Shotcut I get a window saying "Failed to create OpenGL…

Do I need a different GPU or can I tweek what I got. I did try several things based on info I found, but it’s been a nogo.

https://www.shotcut.org/FAQ/#what-are-the-minimum-system-requirements

What are the minimum system requirements?
Operating system: 64-bit Windows 7 - 10, Apple OS X 10.8 - 10.10, or 64-bit Linux with at least glibc 2.13.

CPU: x86-64 Intel or AMD; at least one 2 GHz core for SD, 2 cores for HD, and 4 cores for 4K.

GPU: OpenGL 2.0 that works correctly and is compatible. On Windows, you can also use a card with good, compatible DirectX 9 or 11 drivers. We do not have a list.

RAM: At least 4 GB for SD, 8 GB for HD, and 16 GB for 4K.

Hard drive: yes, get one; the bigger, the better

Thanx.

Yes it’s your gpu assuming that this is you https://communities.intel.com/thread/124539 it doesn’t need to be anything too fancy a GT730 like this will work https://amzn.to/2H15ZPy (I use a 660Ti still shotcut is mostly cpu bound) however you’ll see painfully slow exports if you want to work with 4k on that cpu I used the fire escape that @nwgat wrote to make this chart and your E7300 is closest to the T9900 that was tested(it’s actually a few hundred mhz slower but the T9900 is a laptop chip that may have been throttled)
