Sorry, it seems to be a very common topic, but since updating to 22.09.23 I cannot create transitions between to images/clips any more. Maybe a setting somewhere in the background …
I shift the second clip to the left to overlap with the first. Normally, a crossfade section will appear indicating the transition area. But nothing happens. Instead, the first clip is cut and becomes shorter in timeline.
Thank you, Hudson555x, for your example. This ist exactly what it was till the update. To record a video of the abnormal behaviour I tried to reproduce the error - without success. Now, it works as it should.
I am sorry - whatever it was, now it works fine.
