Top-track and bottom-track label (title,name) does save; however all tracks inbetween do not save.
This has been long standing and is not a recent development.

It works for me. Yes, I saved and loaded. There might be some steps that you are missing to provide.
After renaming press the ‘Enter’-key.
Thanks @DvS – that’s the problem, i always use tab. data entry work has me accustomed to tab. @shotcut maybe it can be fixed so that tab works also.
