Timeline Default Fade Setting

I haven’t been able to figure out how to change the 1 second fade default.
I’ve been adding and copying and pasting the manual way. Those settings are sticky.
Any ideas?

If you meany by double-clicking the circle fader control on the timeline clip, that does not use the filter’s default setting and not customizable unless you modify the source code. The set default button in the filter does work when you add a new filter through the Filters panel.

Having that flexibility may be beneficial if it gets implemented.
