It looks like ShotCut strips the Drop Frame/NonDrop Frame metadata from resulting files. At least it does this for Animation files. Can this be looked at and fixed please?
Doubtful, it is not a file-oriented editor.
If I understand the popular formats correctly, I think the drop/non-drop metadata is a flag on a dedicated time code stream. Shotcut does not export a time code stream, so there is no place to write that metadata.
