The text filter ain't working

so. when I add text to a video it shows up. but when I export it it just dissapear. idk why. please help!

You’re using a really outdated version.
Try updating to the latest version here.

There has been some issues with newer versions not recognizing older version projects. To be safe, do a “Save As” and pick a different project name. Or just simply copy to a different file name for a backup.
