Hi, I’m a Chinese user. I have couple of clips to edit and I wanna add some text on it, so I choose the Text filter to do it. But I can’t type in chinese, the input box might be set limits.
So can the Text filter support Chinese or this is just a bug?
Did you try with HTML overlay too, adding an UTF-8 encoding?

I haven’t tried HTML overlay yet, but I will take it a try later. Now I just make a image with chinese on it and overlay to my video clips, it sounds silly, but it works.lol…
a workaround is to make the text in inkscape and import the svg file as overlay
