Hello everyone,
I was wondering if the text filter can be applied only to the whole clip, or can I have the text appear just for a set duration, for example a few seconds? I could not figure out how to do that, if it is possible. Thanks!

Basically it involves slicing your clip at the start and end point that you want text to appear, copying the sliced section to the clipboard then paste it to a new timeline and apply the text to that. The benefit of this is you can control opacity and fade-in/fade-out by applying the filters to the sliced clip with the added text.
