Subtitle animation

My pleasure, no problem. I forgot to say you can change things like font size and colour etc in the HTML code. Good luck… and ask for help if you need it …

Actually, working out the code for this has given me an idea for some more HTML text effects (in English…). Watch this space, I’ll post them on the forum when done.

It will be a lot of effort but you could use a combination of Aegisub and Natron to make your animated titles?

You would use Aegisub (or another subtitle progam) to create an SRT file which has the timings of each line in the song.

In Natron you would then read the SRT file and apply your effects to it. Once you have done that you can export the entire sequence to transparent pngs and then overlay it onto the video using Shotcut. I described this process in more detail here: https://www.hellocatfood.com/typewriter-text-effect-revisited/

And, if you want the letters to appear one at a time I provided a summary of how to do that https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/129663/how-to-make-animated-gif-of-typed-code/137698#137698

Here’s what I just made:

Again, I appreciate that it is a lot of work to learn another program but it’s a good option in the long term.
