A text filter (the green “3” in the picture) is stuck on screen over all of the videos in the project. And I can´t remove it.

Info:

  • The text filter was originally only attached to a 3 second video inside of the project. But now it is attached to the entire project it seems.
  • All present video and audio layers are included in the picture above.
  • When I play the video, everything is normal, but there is now a green “3” on screen at all times.

What I have tried:

  • Deleteting the text filter from the video. But its still there.
  • Deleting the video which had the filter on it.
  • Restarting shotcut. But the green “3” is still there.
  • Exporting the project. It is still in the exported verision.

How it happened:
When I pressed the “copy the filters” buttom (2 filters). And I think I did Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V when it happened.

Operating system:
Windows 10

20.07.11

Repeat-ability:
I can´t repeat the problem.

Click the funnel icon next to the word “Output” in the top left corner of the timeline. That opens the Filters panel. Remove the extraneous filter you accidentally added there. You are using a very old version. For a few years now there is a warning dialog when you try to add a filter there.

Thank you so much! And thanks for the super quick response. I´ve used it for so long and never updated it. I will update to a new version after this project. Thanks again!!
