Snaps and OpenGL

So after trying to solve my issues a few ways and poking around the forums, I’m wondering if any of the Devs. have reached out to Alan Pope at Canonical (@popey on twitter). He seems very interested helping projects from the Canonical/Snap side to get things working properly.

Shotcut seems to understand the need for full use of CPU and GPU resources. I’m not seeing any other project pushing as hard there. I’d argue the project is needed in the Linux space and would be a good feather in the Snap cap, as well. Selfishly, it’s the only project that may well fit my needs and I’d love to be able to get it running after a simple “snap install shotcut”.
