Shotcut shortcut disappears from desktop

What is your operating system?
Windows 10x64 Pro

Shotcut version 20.02.17

Frequently when powering up my PC the Shotcut short cut has disappeared from my desktop. This is not a serious problem since I can replace it from the START list, just an irritation.

This isn’t a Shotcut problem. It happens to me sometimes with other applications. I suspect when I’ve been using my laptop in tablet mode, but I’m not sure. Next time it happens try the following:

Right-click on the Desktop and choose "Refresh"

If that doesn’t work :

Right-click on the Desktop and choose "View -> Auto-arrange Items"

Thanks. That didn’t work, but you’re right it has happened with other short cuts but none more so than with Shotcut. A mystery but not serious.
